Changes @ TransXL
The last 5 years has seen TransXL navigate some dramatic staff changes due to our own demographic time bomb!
Three long term staff with over 70 man years contribution have now left the business and we salute their valuable input.
Jon and Sue Napper, the owners, are continuing to slowly reducing their daily involvement in the business and hand over more responsibility to others.
So the younger members are now stepping up to the mark;-
Jon Smith, as Sales Director covering most Selling and Buying of equipment as well as Marketing, has also picked more daily management tasks.
Tim Wrighton joins the management team and has been promoted to Operations Manager covering the Site Services and control of the Workshop. Tim continues with some his Sales activities.
Sean Pipe helps Tim run the workshop and has been promoted to Charge Hand
Lisa Redman, Marketing Assistant, is increasing her return to full time with extra Administration duties in addition to Marketing.
Jon Napper comment “ it’s tough loosing long term employees but the younger members are raring to go and they will capitalise on the heritage of the leavers and translate it into the new TransXL of the future. I am optimistic that we can create a smooth transition and build a new structure to run the business, as Sue and I enjoy more time freedom - after all even our ‘younger’ members have worked for us more than 20 years each so now is right time to recognised this!”
